I dropped in for a couple classes this week and had an amazing time. Walking in, there was just a good feeling about the gym. The facilities are so clean and the coaches were very welcoming! To be honestly I was very nervous to drop in. I’ve been doing BJJ for a couple years now but, as a smaller woman, dropping in at a new gym can be intimidating, however the coaches made me feel welcome and I had a wonderful time. I love my home BJJ gym but am a little sad this one is so far away, otherwise I’d totally drop in more!
My husband and I dropped in this past Sunday for open mat and had a great time. We were traveling through and August replied to our voicemail promptly. The facility is very nice and in a shared building with a crossfit gym and we were able to shower before getting back into the car which was great. All of the guys I trained with were great partners, technical and friendly.
Love this school and the instructors and the students! I have all three of my kids taking the kids classes and it's great to see how much they have grown! Their self esteem and confidence is going up and it gives me comfort to know they are learning to defend themselves if ever put in a bad situation. I too have been taking the adult classes, the instructors are very knowledgeable in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, friendly, encouraging, always willing to help, and have welcomed me in as part of their family.
